Each January, the editors of the NY Times Travel section publish their 52 Places to Go selection, and we are so proud to see in 2016 the city of Turin and the nearby Langhe Region in this top list, at the position #31!

The reasons are related to a renewal and vibrant city with galleries, ateliers and clubs, street art initiative, fresh exhibition spaces and museums, many music festivals.

The city, which is home to Slow Food’s annual Salone del Gusto, is also a jumping-off point for the Unesco world heritage site of Langhe region, with his famous great red wines (Barolo and Barbaresco) and the unique in the world Alba's white truffle.
